This week, our Year 5 students celebrated Numbers Day with a fun and creative activity! They used their understanding of symmetry to draw beautiful, intricate insects, connecting to our topic on the Amazon Rainforest. The children designed one half of an insect, traced it, then flipped the paper to create a perfect mirror image. They added their own unique touches, resulting in stunning symmetrical insect art. It was wonderful to see their creativity and learn about nature at the same time!
