20 Oct Black History Month – Turks and Caicos Island
As we embrace the spirit of Black History Month, the Year 6 students at Alexandra Primary School embarked on a fascinating journey into the vibrant culture and history of the Turks and Caicos Islands. One special highlight of this incredible exploration was a captivating presentation by Ms Maureen Clarke, one of our Y6 parents shared her personal experiences and stories, providing a unique and inspiring insight into life in Turks and Caicos. Ms Clarke also treated the children to some mouth-watering sweetcorn fritters, a taste of the delicious cuisine from the Turks and Caicos.
