Alexandra is a vibrant two-form entry Primary School with a Nursery situated in Wood Green, North London. We are proud to be culturally diverse and have a strong inclusive ethos. In September 2025 we opened a Resourced Provision for ten Primary pupils with SEMHD, in a newly refurbished building with specialist facilities. We are looking for a skilled, passionate and committed individual to teach in the provision and ensure our most vulnerable learners have the opportunity to succeed.

We are looking for:

  • A highly skilled and adaptable classroom practitioner with strong pedagogical knowledge & understanding
  • A deep commitment to improving the life chances and educational outcomes of children at risk of exclusion.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to building strong relationships with children, staff, families and external agencies.
  • A practitioner who is highly organised with a proven track record of effective SEND provision, preferably working successfully with pupils with SEMHD.
  • A strong knowledge of trauma informed practice, relational approaches and desire to work with challenging behaviour.
  • A passion for personal growth and professional learning.
  • A resilient individual who is calm under pressure.
