Our Year 4 scientists have been busy learning all about the three states of matter: solids, liquids and gases! We had lots of fun acting out how particles are arranged and move in each state.

We then explored melting points through a delicious experiment using dark, milk and white chocolate. The children made their own hypotheses about which type of chocolate would melt first, before carrying out the experiment and observing the results. They had a fantastic time investigating, predicting and discovering how different materials behave when heated! 🍫🧪
