Year 2 Seaside Fun 

Year 2 visited Southend on Sea to explore the beach.  This was part of their geography learning but also a chance to celebrate their brilliant learning all year.  When we first arrived, we set up on the beach and immediately started paddling in the freezing cold sea, creating sand castles and sculptures and searching for rocks and shells.  Then, we enjoyed our lunch sitting on the sand.  After that, we went to enjoy the playground on the sand.  What a brilliant day we had!
