Surreal Year 2
In Art, Year 2 have been studying portraits this half term, in particular the surreal portraits created by Pablo Picasso. We have had lots of opportunities to have creative fun while we explored charcoal, chalk and chalk pastels and used blending and smudging techniques. We have used our knowledge of chalk pastels to create our own portraits in the style of Pablo Picasso. We had a lot of fun creating them.
