HOLIDAY H/W – Landmark models
In Geography this term, we will be exploring famous landmarks around Britain. The children have been busy creating their own landmark models over the half term for the project. The children have also researched significant Landmarks around the world and have created a fact file!
Science activity with skittles and lemonade
To celebrate WBW, we used scientific methods to create a rainbow effect using Wizard skittles and lemonade! The children really enjoyed experimenting, predicting and being scientists.
WBW pictures and visit to Yr 2
On Thursday, the children dressed up as a character in Harry Potter. The children looked amazing and loved showing off their outfits to the whole school during the parade. In the afternoon, the children visited Year 2 to explore their Harry Potter workshop. The children had a great time reading their diary entries and letters to each other. To enhance our love for reading, we also created masks to role play our favourite traditional tale!
