22 May Voices for the Future Performance
Alexandra Primary have benefitted from Paul Hamlyn Foundation funding this year. The focus of the work has been using the creative arts to promote oracy within our school, helping our teachers to feel confident in these areas. We have been fortunate to have Roberta Livingston coming in on a weekly basis to work with our Year 3 teachers and classes, leading drama hour long drama sessions. To celebrate this work, each class held a performance at our Collage Arts, a leading arts charity, in their drama studio. The children sang, rapped, acted and mimed. What a treat it was to see the pride and confidence they had in their performance. Well done Year 3. And thank you to the Paul Hamlyn Foundation for making this all possible. Alexandra Primary teachers and students will benefit from the continuation of the project next year.
