In addition we have developed a Learning Skills Framework, this ensures that children know how to be effective learners.
We also want to ensure that our children understand and respect The Values that are important to us all in Britain – Follow this link to see all the opportunities provided for children to discuss and understand life in modern Britain.
Learning Skills are a set of 6 groups of skills that enable children to develop the ability to learn and think successfully. In essence, this framework of skills captures the essential skills of: managing self; managing relationships with others; and managing own learning, performance and work. These skills will enable young people to enter work and adult life as confident and capable individuals. We want to ensure that we embed these skills across our curriculum.
