05 Dec Oliver’s Vegetable
This week we our focus text is ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’. We have been learning all about healthy and unhealthy foods, and about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet. We have enjoyed printing with vegetables and paint to create beautiful pictures, as well as scrubbing and washing vegetables in preparation to make vegetable soup. We have opened up a fruit and vegetable market in the role play area, where the children have been acting as customers and cashiers.
