Assistant Head required for the Autumn term 2024

Salary scale L7-L10

Part-time, fixed one-term contract 0.6 or 0.8

Alexandra is a vibrant two-form entry Primary School with a Nursery situated in Wood Green, North London. We are proud to be culturally diverse and have a strong inclusive ethos. Due to the relocation of our current AHT, we are seeking an innovative and experienced senior leader who can support the Headteacher and contribute to our continued improvement during the Autumn Term.

We are looking for:

An experienced leader and effective communicator who understands the logistics of working in and organising a busy, primary school and is calm under pressure.
Someone who can build positive relationships quickly with children, staff, families and the wider community.
Commitment to achieving and leading on high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour for all children.
Someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of teaching & learning. Preferably including Early Years, core subject leadership and curriculum development.
A previous DSL or Deputy DSL with experience of working successfully with the most vulnerable learners and their families.
A leader who is organised, self-motivated and willing to support across all aspects of school
